Glass Panel
Shatter-proof, floor-to-ceiling,glass panels on both sides of the public gallery. Each glass panel is 2.4m high. The public gallery can accommodate 223 visitors, including four for the wheel-chair bound.
LCD TV Screens
LCD TV screens and speakers to let members of the public follow the debates.
Lecterns
Electrically-operated lecterns can be raised up to 30cm at the press of a button.
The Speaker's Chair
The Speaker’s Chair is at the centre of the dais at the front of the Chamber. The Speaker occupies the Chair of the House when presiding over sittings. When he chairs the Committee of the Whole House, he takes the extreme right seat at the Clerk’s Table. The Clerk of Parliament and his assistants are seated at the table in the Chamber just in front of the Speaker.
Electronic Voting System
The Chamber is equipped with an Electronic Voting System and Integrated Digital Congress System, which allows for simultaneous interpretation and recording of speeches.
Cameras
Robotic cameras for filming and broadcasting of the proceedings.
